What we do
Ah-M'Chaya lends people who are sick in the hospital an iPad loaded with entertainment, at no cost, so they have something to enjoy during their stay. Patients or their families apply for a device, we set it up for the patient, and the device is returned when it is no longer needed.
Text messages from Ah-M'Chaya
Ah-M'Chaya texts people only after they ask us to. When someone calls, emails or speaks with us to request a device, we ask: "May we text you the application link and updates about your device at this number?" We only text the number they give us after they say yes.
The texts we send are:
- The link to the device application form
- Updates about the application, the device delivery, and its return
Example message:
Ah-M'Chaya: Thank you for reaching out to us. In order to receive a device, please fill out an application: https://forms.gle/… Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Message frequency varies, usually a few messages per application. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. We never charge for our service, we do not send marketing messages, and we never sell or share phone numbers or text-message consent with anyone for marketing.
